Alexa Leppelmeier of Walsh placed second in the women's 3,000-meter steeplechase final in 10:12.93 at the NCAA Division 2 Outdoor Championships at Grand Valley State in Allendale, Mich. Leppelmeier elevated to the No. 19 competitor in division history, in addition to finishing 11th in the 5,000-meter final in 16:47.08.
